Astrimar Ltd turns 16!

This month marks a special milestone - Astrimar turns 16! Since opening our doors in 2010, we've been privileged to grow, innovate, and deliver meaningful impact across the energy sector. Today, we're taking a moment to reflect on our journey and celebrate everything we've achieved so far.

As the heart of it all is our exceptional 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠. Every member of Astrimar contributes to a strong, supportive, and talented family - and it's their dedication that powers our success.

Over the past year, we've continued to strengthen our capabilities in reliability-centred engineering solutions, delivering projects that add real value to our clients and the wider industry.

Highlights from the past 12 months include our business being shortlisted for multiple industry awards at Offshore Energies UK OEUK Awards 2025 and Global Underwater Hub’s Subsea Expo 2026. Our Software Engineer Silvia Hands being recognised as a finalist for a Rising Star industry award at Subsea Expo. Our Managing Director being honoured with an Outstanding Achievement award at the Scottish Women’s Awards 2025. We marked the retirement of our co-founder and Operations Director Elizabeth Garry, and welcomed Brian Willis and Steve Walls into the leadership team as Associate Directors. We launched the Well P&A Technology Qualification Framework with the Net Zero Technology Centre, which is a major step forward in standardising qualification of new materials for responsible well decommissioning. We also celebrated two of our engineers achieving IMechE Chartership and welcomed a new Graduate Engineer, a second Chief Consultant, and are preparing to welcome an engineering intern this summer.

Astrimar remains a specialised engineering consultancy with reliability at the heart of everything we do. If you would like to explore how we can support your project or organisation, contact us at info@astrimar.com
